Job summary

Smoothie King, a Derby, Kansas brand, is seeking a Shift Leader / Team Captain to support guests in achieving fitness and nutrition goals and to guide team members when the manager is away. You will help guests choose smoothies and retail products that promote an active lifestyle, while upholding brand standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and a passion for healthy living, with opportunities to develop skills in operations and customer care within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a “guest comes first” attitude.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or older to apply.
• Experience in a fast-food environment preferred, but not necessary.

• Blends delicious tasting smoothies.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience.
• Preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Performs store checklist tasks.

• Assists in Team Member management throughout shift.

We are looking for purpose-driven Shift Leader / Team Captain to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. As a Shift Leader / Team Captain you will help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, but also provide guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store. The successful Shift Leader / Team Captain will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.
