Job summary

Smoothie King in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a Shift Leader / Team Captain to act as an ambassador for our brand. You will guide guests in selecting smoothies and retail products that support a healthy, active lifestyle and assist team members when managers are not on duty.

The role emphasizes guest engagement, product prep, and store operations, with opportunities to lead, train, and uphold our values—Better Together, evolving, and doing the right thing.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused approach and excellent communication.
• Minimum age 16 or older to apply; some roles may require additional qualifications.
• Experience in fast-food is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Blends delicious smoothies.
• Ensures Guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience.
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Performs store checklist tasks.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King.
• Assists in Team Member management throughout shift.
• Fulfills cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.

We are looking for purpose-driven Shift Leader / Team Captain to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. As a Shift Leader / Team Captain you will help Guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, but also provide guidance to Team Members when General Managers are not in the store. The successful Shift Leader / Team Captain will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a “guest comes first” attitude.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years of age or older to apply. Please note that while this is the minimum age requirement for employment, the Team Captain role may require additional qualifications and experience beyond age.
• Experience in a fast-food environment preferred, but not necessary.
