Gelati Celesti Ice Cream is growing and needs a talented Shift Leader to join our Swift Creek location!

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading the store operations when the Assistant Manager or General Manager are not present. We'll expect you to lead by example with a positive attitude and good-old-fashioned hard work, focusing on ensuring optimum product quality, strong team leadership, and supreme customer service. We're looking for people who possess a natural ability to connect with people, enthusiastically guiding their teams to give a moment of joy to each and every customer, and who create an upbeat, friendly, and sincerely caring environment for customers. Full and part-time positions are available; previous leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities of the Shift Leader include but are not limited to:

1. Leading a Team
2. Ordering product and keeping accurate inventory while enforcing food safety regulations and health standards in a clean and organized work area
3. Maintaining an effective and positive environment aware of changes, new menu items, and procedures

Requirements

• Ideal candidate will have 1 year of management experience in a retail environment.
• Must have reliable transportation and flexible availability (daytime, nighttime, weekend, and holiday)
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, with constant moving, bending, lifting, reaching, and turning during all shifts
• Must be able to reach and grasp with hands, talk and hear from far away and in close proximity, taste and smell
• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch while also being able to lift and move up to at least 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds or more
