Position Details

Title: Shift Leader
Reports to: Store Manager
Schedule: Full Time (37-40 hours/week), preferred availability 9am-6pm
Pay Range: $13.50/hr - $15.00/hr

Role Overview

The Shift Leader at United Dairy Farmers is responsible for delivering outstanding service by following The Hi Five Guest Experience and ensuring the safe, efficient operation of the store in the absence of a higher-level manager. Responsibilities include adhering to company policies, laws, and regulations, and conducting sales transactions legally, including alcohol and tobacco sales.

Essential Functions

1. Provide excellent guest service, ensuring store readiness and guest satisfaction.
2. Prepare DipSide items like shakes, ice cream, and sundaes.
3. Operate POS and gas console systems accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain stock levels and store cleanliness.
5. Monitor store security, control cash, and prevent theft.
6. Ensure store and equipment maintenance.
7. Complete required reports and documentation accurately.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• Effective communication in English.
• Ability to operate store equipment and handle transactions accurately.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds and handle packages up to 21 pounds.
• Tolerance to temperature variations.
