American Franchise Brands is seeking an Assistant Manager for a Jimmy John's restaurant in Ohio. You will oversee daily operations, ensure top-tier customer service, and manage a small-to-mid sized team.

This role requires lifting, long hours, and multitasking across food prep, service, and supervision. The position emphasizes training, inventory control, and adherence to company procedures to drive profitability in the GM's absence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues.
• Ability to handle and resolve employee issues.
• Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manages all functions of a Jimmy John's restaurant to ensure customer service and high-quality products are delivered to ensure restaurant profitability when the General Manager is not on duty.
• Supervises a staff of approximately 3 to 50 employees, assigns, oversees and evaluates work; recommends promotions, transfers, or terminations.
• Provides on-the-job training for new employees.
• Handles ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize loss from waste or theft.
• Ensures world-class customer service and efficient service during rush periods.
• Oversees opening and closing procedures and maintenance of equipment and cleanliness.
• Routes deliveries and supervises drivers to maximize delivery speed and accuracy.
