Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Summary: To serve as a restaurant leader and ensure that Team Members on shift are provided with proper coaching, training, and development to deliver an outstanding customer experience at Church's. Ensure compliance with all Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
  2. Ensure all Church's menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
  3. Oversee that job assignments and activities are carried out by Team Members.
  4. Assist Team Members as necessary to prepare quality products, provide service, and maintain cleanliness.
  5. Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
  6. Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
  7. Perform opening and closing duties as required on the Shift Awareness Checklists.
  8. Follow proper procedures for the preparation of all menu items.
  9. Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food products, including icing procedures.
  10. Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors at all times.
  11. Ensure on-time attendance of employees for shifts.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience)
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is highly recommended.
  • ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.
Position Qualifications/Functional Skills
  • Complete Weekly Sales Reports, Bank deposit slips, Cash and Inventory worksheets, and ensure accuracy of paperwork.
  • Enter inventory and payroll data into the POS system as required.
  • Ensure proper nightly closing of the POS system.
  • Adhere to cash handling and security procedures, including cash counts, drawer management, POS deletions, over-rings, voids, large bill drops, and maintaining cash drawer levels.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License, have access to a vehicle during shifts, and proof of insurance.
  • Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
