Shift Leader - Restaurant 201490 - 2303 25th Ave N, Texas City, TX 77590 (Finance)

Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager
Department: Field Operations
Job Summary: To serve as a restaurant leader and ensure that Team Members on shift are provided with the proper coaching, training, and development necessary to provide an outstanding customer experience at Church's. Ensure compliance with all Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures as set forth by the company.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
• Ensure all Church's menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
• Assign and oversee job activities carried out by Team Members.
• Assist Team Members in preparing quality products, providing service, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
• Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required on the Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Follow proper procedures for preparing menu items and handling food products.
• Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors at all times.
• Ensure on-time attendance of all employees for the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. is recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training is recommended.

Position Qualifications/Functional Skills:

• Complete Weekly Sales Report, Bank deposit slips, Cash and Inventory worksheet, and other shift forms accurately.
• Enter inventory and payroll data into the POS system as required.
• Ensure correct nightly polling of the restaurant by properly closing the POS system.
• Adhere to cash handling and security procedures, including sales counts, drawer management, POS deletions, over-rings, voids, and cash levels.
• Possess a valid Driver's License, have access to a vehicle during shifts, and provide proof of insurance.
• Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
