Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Summary: To serve as a restaurant leader, ensuring that Team Members on shift receive proper coaching, training, and development to provide an outstanding customer experience at Church's. Ensure compliance with all Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures as set forth by the company.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
  2. Ensure all Church's menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
  3. Assign and oversee tasks carried out by Team Members.
  4. Assist Team Members in preparing quality products, providing service, and maintaining cleanliness.
  5. Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
  6. Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
  7. Perform opening and closing duties as required on the Shift Awareness Checklists.
  8. Follow proper procedures for the preparation of all menu items.
  9. Handle and store food products correctly, including rotation and icing procedures.
  10. Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors.
  11. Ensure on-time attendance of all employees for the shift.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):

  1. Must be at least 18 years old.
  2. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is highly recommended.
  3. ServSafe food safety training is highly recommended.

Position Qualifications/Functional Skills:

  1. Complete Weekly Sales Report, Bank deposit slips, Cash and Inventory worksheet, and other shift-related forms, ensuring accuracy.
  2. Enter inventory and payroll data into the POS system as required.
  3. Ensure nightly POS system polls are completed during close.
  4. Adhere to cash handling and security procedures, including sales counts, drawer assignments, POS deletions, over-rings, voids, large bill drops, and cash levels.
  5. Possess a valid Driver's License, have access to a vehicle during shifts, and provide proof of insurance.
  6. Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
