Shift Leader - Restaurant 200059 - 1144 Adams Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104

Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Summary: To serve as a restaurant leader, ensuring Team Members receive proper coaching, training, and development to provide an outstanding customer experience at Church's. Ensure compliance with all Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
2. Ensure all menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
3. Assign and oversee activities carried out by Team Members.
4. Assist Team Members in preparing quality products, providing service, and maintaining cleanliness.
5. Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
6. Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
7. Perform opening and closing duties as per Shift Awareness Checklists.
8. Follow proper procedures for food preparation, receiving, handling, and storage, including rotation and icing.
9. Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors.
10. Ensure on-time attendance of all employees for shifts.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. recommended.
• ServSafe food safety training recommended.

Position Qualifications/Skills:

• Complete Weekly Sales Reports, Bank deposit slips, Cash and Inventory worksheets, and ensure accuracy.
• Enter inventory and payroll data into POS system as required.
• Ensure nightly POS system closeout.
• Adhere to cash handling and security procedures, including sales counts, drawer management, and voids.
• Possess a valid Driver's License, access to a vehicle during shifts, and proof of insurance.
• Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
