Job summary

KwikFill in Oneida, NY is seeking a Shift Leader to help manage daily operations and train toward an Assistant Manager role. You will support store operations, assist customers, stock shelves, and handle cash with accuracy.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Weekend coverage is expected as management presence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior convenience store experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Offer appropriate customer service.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register with accuracy.
• Stock, price, and face merchandise across store areas.
• Manage storage, rotation, and retrieval of goods including lifting up to 50lbs.
• Follow Health Department rules and store policies; perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Handle cash and store paperwork accurately.
• Be neat in appearance and dress code as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store/ District Manager.
