Our Panda Shift Leader Associates

Our Panda Shift Leader associates are important leaders of our team and are responsible for bringing Panda's mission alive in our restaurants by supporting management in creating food with passion, service with heart, and ambiance with pride.

Shift Lead Qualifications - Education and Experience:
  • Some high school education
  • Preferred experience in operations and food safety

Local and municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, must be acquired at the applicant's own expense.

ADA Statement:

While performing duties, employees may encounter hot environments with steam and food vapors. Workspaces can be restricted, and employees are generally expected to stand for long periods. Responsibilities include preparing hot and cold foods, using kitchen equipment, and working quickly and accurately. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach across counters measuring 36 inches. Kitchens are hot and noisy, with limited storage and high shelving. Employees must work effectively in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly, adapt to changing priorities, and manage conflicts and difficult situations.
