Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is hiring a highly skilled Shift Leader to energize the team and drive daily operations at our Sunshine location. You will open the cafe, oversee cash handling, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere while guiding your team through morning shifts and customer service excellence.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of leadership in food service, strong communication, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership experience in food service or related fields.
• Knowledge of labor and food cost management.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Commitment to operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Open the cafe each morning and lead daily operations with enthusiasm
• Prepare and serve delicious smoothies and wholesome food following our recipes
• Greet guests warmly with a loud “Welcome In” and a smile
• Train, mentor, and motivate team members to reach their full potential
• Manage cash, till, and ensure smooth point of sale transactions
• Maintain a spotless, welcoming cafe environment using checklists and systems
