Shift Differential for Closing Shift Leaders
Role:
Support the RGM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner. Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help from others when appropriate; and be willing to provide help and guidance to others.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Ensuring Consistent Customer Satisfaction: Execute the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) Success Routine and ensure responsibilities under People, Customers, and Service are completed.
- Ensure that all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned positions.
- Ensure that all employees present a neat, clean appearance and wear the company uniform.
- Prioritize customer needs and demonstrate excellent customer service.
- Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining positive relations.
- Greet customers politely with a smile, demonstrating a positive attitude.
- Work with urgency and collaborate effectively with management and team members.
- Show cooperation and teamwork, helping others when needed.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers.
Attendance:
- Report to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform, and ready to perform tasks. Provide notice if unable to attend.
- Use the approved timekeeping system accurately to record all hours worked.
Initiative and Energy:
Take proactive actions, go beyond basic requirements, and maintain high activity levels.
Developing People:
- Provide regular feedback to the RGM on team member performance.
- Offer ongoing constructive feedback and recognition.
- Participate actively in training team members.
- Handle conflicts constructively and collaborate with RGM for resolution.
Act Like an Owner - Assist:
- Manage profit and loss by following cash control, inventory, and labor procedures.
- Oversee proper food preparation, rotation, portioning, and holding times.
- Assist with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirements and Essential Functions:
- Preference for internal promotion from Hourly Champion position.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background checks are required for all management employees.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are necessary.
- Basic business math skills required.
- Ability to stock shelves, oversee staff, and provide direction.
- Physical ability to sweep, mop, dust, lift, carry, and tolerate standing and walking for most of the shift.
