Shift Differential for Closing Shift Leaders

Role:

Support the RGM by running great shifts in a self-sufficient manner. Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems; seek help from others when appropriate; and be willing to provide help and guidance to others.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction
• Execute the MIC (Manager-In-Charge) Success Routine and ensure responsibilities under People, Customers, and Service are completed
• Ensure all Team Members complete their Shift Excellence tasks for their assigned positions
• Ensure employees present a neat, clean appearance and wear the company uniform
• Prioritize customer needs and demonstrate excellent customer service
• Maintain food safety, quality, and order accuracy
• Resolve customer complaints promptly while maintaining positive relations
• Greet customers politely and with a smile
• Work with urgency and cooperation with management and peers
• Promote teamwork and assist others as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude with co-workers

Attendance:

• Report to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform, and ready to work; provide notice if unable to attend
• Use the approved timekeeping system accurately

Initiative and Energy:

Take proactive actions, go beyond basic requirements, and maintain high activity levels.

Developing People:

• Provide feedback on team members’ performance
• Participate actively in training
• Handle conflicts constructively with the RGM’s assistance

Act Like an Owner - Assist:

• Manage profit and loss through cash control, inventory, and labor management
• Ensure proper food preparation, rotation, and safety standards
• Assist with facility maintenance and safety compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements and Essential Functions:

• Preference for internal promotion from Hourly Champion position
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Background checks required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Basic math skills
• Ability to stock, oversee staff, and perform cleaning duties
• Ability to tolerate walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and standing for 90% of shift
