Job summary

ABC Liquors, Inc. in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking a Shift Leader Trainee to start a fast-track path to a Shift Leader role within approximately 90 days. This position emphasizes personalized service to Guests and support for Team Members.

The role includes serving as Manager on Duty in training, opening/closing the store, handling POS transactions, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of proven experience in a management or leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open/close store, assist management in overseeing operations.
• Greet Guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS terminal, process transactions, cash handling, tendering, coupons/discounts; perform opening/closing reconciliations.
