Subway Group in Erie, PA is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and inventory while supervising and scheduling staff.

Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience and a high school diploma are required. Strong communication and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds are essential. Full-time and part-time shifts (days/evenings/weekends) vary by location.

As part of the Subway® Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on six main things:

In addition to the role of a typical Sandwich Artist®, key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Cascading training to Sandwich Artists™ on existing and new responsibilities
• Scheduling and supervising staff
• Practicing inventory control standards
• Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shift
• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
