Job summary

Wingstop - FWS is seeking an entry-level Shift Leader to support daily restaurant operations under the supervision of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.

We train you to succeed on a leadership journey with upward mobility to a General Manager role, including full-time benefits packages and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year of food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Certification required once hired.
• 6 months experience using a register (POS) system.
• Maintain cash handling and store safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the General Manager in meeting store goals.
• Drive operational excellence by controlling labor and food costs during shifts.
• Ensure a safe restaurant environment for team members and guests.
• Foster a positive culture and recognize high performance among staff.
• Provide excellent customer service with a guest-first attitude.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to a high performing level.
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager and District Manager.

SHIFT LEADER

Position Summary

As a Shift Leader at Thacher Restaurant Group, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations while creating a positive experience for both guests and team members. You'll support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, coaching team members, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. This is an important leadership role that prepares you for future growth within our company.

What We're Looking For

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset
• At least 1 year of restaurant, retail, or leadership experience preferred
• Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Available to support business needs

What You'll Do

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.
