Job summary

Thacher Restaurant Group is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and maintain high service standards. You will support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by guiding shifts and upholding operational excellence.

You will lead by example, deliver exceptional guest experiences, ensure food safety and cleanliness, and help with opening/closing and shift changes while developing your team for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and leadership mindset.
• At least 1 year of restaurant/retail/leadership experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Experience using a POS system preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable attendance and ability to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
• Coach and encourage team members during each shift.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are maintained.
• Monitor ticket times and help deliver orders within quoted readiness times.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Support cash handling and ensure company procedures are followed.
• Assist with opening, closing, and shift changing responsibilities.
• Communicating restaurant needs and maintenance concerns management.
• Help train and develop new team members.
• Step into any position as needed to support the success of the restaurant.

SHIFT LEADER

Position Summary

As a Shift Leader at Thacher Restaurant Group, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations while creating a positive experience for both guests and team members. You'll support the General Manager and Assistant Manager by leading shifts, coaching team members, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional service. What We're Looking For
