McDonald’s is hiring a Shift Manager in a franchise restaurant. You will lead shifts, coach crew and other managers, and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service while maintaining food safety and cleanliness.

This role requires strong leadership and a commitment to excellent customer experience. As a Shift Manager, you may plan shifts, monitor performance, meet safety and profitability standards, and prepare the next shift for a smooth handoff.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Ability to lead shifts and ensure fast, friendly service to customers.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and be 18+.
• Shift management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Lead and coach crew and other managers during shifts.
• Monitor food safety, cleanliness and equipment usage.
• Schedule staff and allocate tasks to meet targets.
• Communicate needs and outcomes to the next shift manager.
• Protect customer safety and store security at all times.
• Drive high standards in service, accuracy and speed.
• Train team members on procedures and best practices.
• Support inventory tracking and waste control.
• Help departments reach their goals during shifts.
