RaceTrac, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on a high-traffic shift. You will set a positive tone, guide daily operations, and ensure guest satisfaction through effective coaching and clear communication.

Responsibilities include supervising food service, stocking, cash handling, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards while driving inventory accuracy and promotional execution.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Relay important updates from leadership to shift associates and monitor task completion.
