Job summary

Pizza Hut in the United States is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensure food quality and service speed, and drive team performance. You will coach staff, manage assignments, and maintain high safety and cleanliness standards throughout each shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide direction to team members.
• Assign positions and deploy team members based on business needs.
• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service for guests.
• Maintain Pizza Hut standards for food quality and presentation.
• Monitor speed of service and adjust staffing as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling and food safety procedures are followed.
• Complete required food safety logs accurately and on time.
• Address and communicate any food safety concerns immediately.
• Open, close, and shift-change procedures completed properly.
• Manage cash handling, registers, deposits, and financial controls.
• Monitor inventory, stocking, rotation, and product levels.
• Maintain a clean, safe restaurant for guests and employees.
• Coach and train team members; reinforce standards.
• Support training for new and existing staff.
• Communicate equipment, staffing, and safety concerns to management.
• Monitor labor and staffing during shifts.
• Control food waste and proper portioning.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly.
• Create a positive, respectful, accountable workplace.
• Support delivery, kitchen, front counter, and other roles as needed.
