Job summary

Shipley Donuts is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, supervise a skilled team, and ensure top-tier service and quality. You will lead by example, manage inventory, and assist with budgeting to keep profitability high.

Proven shift management experience in a restaurant, familiarity with Aloha POS, and a background in baking are valued assets for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in shift management in a restaurant or fast casual setting.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS systems or similar technology.
• Background in baking is a plus.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example.
• Experience in staff training and development is desirable.
• Open availability; shifts may run 3:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shift operations to ensure staff efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members in customer service and food safety.
• Manage inventory and assist with budgeting to maintain profitability.
• Utilize Aloha POS for order management and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Foster a positive work environment and teamwork.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
