Job summary

Chi'Lantro is hiring a Crew Lead in Austin to guide a team in delivering high-quality Korean BBQ-inspired dishes with outstanding guest service. You will oversee cleanliness, food prep, order accuracy, and brand representation while supporting the shift as acting manager when needed.

Requirements include a strong work ethic, ability to lift 50 lbs, and reliability. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a fast-growing company with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• Ability to chop, prep, hold and grab items.
• Must be able to communicate the primary language of the work location.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of FIFO and food safety is a plus, not required.
• 18 years of age minimum.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Take guest orders and connect with the brand.
• Assemble items per specifications and ensure quality.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the General Manager.
• Place orders for food, beverages and supplies as needed.
• Train new Crew Members and oversee opening/closing duties.
• Assign tasks and ensure outstanding customer service and cleanliness.

What You Do

• Greet every guest as they enterour restaurant.
• Maintainan extremelydetailed level of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining area.
• Prepare ingredients accordingto restaurant recipes.
• Connect our brand while takingthe guests’ order.
• Assemble menu items accordingto specifications of the company and the guest.
• Assume responsibly for thequality and presentation of each and every item served.
• Deliver the Chi’Lantroexperience while serving guests.
• Act as manager on duty in theabsence of General Manager.
• Place orders for food,beverage, and other supplies as needed.
• Communicate with Crew Memberseffectively to ensure great customer service, impeccable cleanliness ofour restaurant, and high-quality food.
• Take initiative to be apositive role model and leader to crew.
• Account for food and beveragespoilage and enter into Spoilage Log.
• Responsible for ongoingtraining and new training of Crew Members.
• Responsible for overseeingduties pertaining to opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Assesse prep needs and assignto Crew Members to complete. Follow up as necessary.
• Assign cleaning and daily tasksto Crew Members.
• Exceed the expectations of ourcustomers by seeing the needs of our guests.
• Ultimately, you will beresponsible for building a lasting relationship with each and every one ofour guests by creating a lasting. impression from the moment the guestwalks in the door to the moment they leave our restaurant.
