This entry-level management position supports the management team by ensuring total guest dining satisfaction. The primary role of the Shift Leader is to uphold hospitality excellence by managing, coaching, and delegating to employees to ensure the timely delivery of top-quality food, friendly and welcoming behaviors, and maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Shift Leader Responsibilities
  1. Protects the restaurant's cash assets during each shift, including counting and verifying the safe and cash drawers, completing bank deposit slips, and entering information into the safe log.
  2. Collaborates with the Executive General Manager and Assistant Managers to achieve maximum sales and profits while maintaining operational standards.
  3. Enforces all company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations regarding wages, hours, and sanitation.
  4. Works with the management team to implement advertising and promotions, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation.
  5. Maintains strict safety and sanitation standards.
  6. Assists in employee training to ensure proper onboarding and ongoing development.
  7. Supports the management team in achieving complete guest satisfaction.
  8. Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to uniform standards.
Shift Leader Job Skills

  2. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
