Position Summary

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

  1. Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, wage and hour laws, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements.
  2. Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  3. Maintain the profitability of the business by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  4. Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, embracing Firehouse Subs’ culture, mission, and vision.
  5. Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing operational plans and company initiatives profitably and promptly.
  6. Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  7. Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
  8. Actively participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  9. Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
  10. Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business.
  11. Be able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours.
  12. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  13. Perform any other duties assigned by the GM/Owner.
