Job summary

Oberweis Dairy in Ballwin, MO is seeking a Shift Leader for our ice cream shop to help guide daily operations and create a fun, customer-focused environment. You’ll support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, lead the scoop team, and ensure excellent service and efficient opening/closing shifts.

This role requires a positive, upbeat attitude, the ability to perform simple math, and availability 3–5 days per week, including nights and weekends.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Read, write and understand English.

POSITION SUMMARY

We're looking for a high-energy, people-loving Shift Leader/Key Holder to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success. You'll be the right-hand hero to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support our scoop squad
• Deliver amazing customer service
• Manage opening or closing shifts and daily operations
• Keep the shop clean, stocked and running smoothly
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Read, write and understand the English language
• Ability to do simple math
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Positive, upbeat attitude
• Available to work 3-5 days per week, including nights and weekends

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Carry up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 5-8 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperatures as low as 32 F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in freezer at -10 F during inventory and stocking
