Job summary

The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Shift Leader works alongside the Assistant Manager, General Manager and team members to create the highest-quality cakes, a warm, welcoming environment, and superior guest experience.

The Shift Leader shares in team leadership and collaborates with the bakery management in driving sales and profitability, executing day-to-day responsibilities and ensuring that all aspects of the bakery operation comply with NbC standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service, preferably in a lead role.
• Experience coaching others, training new team members, and directing work to meet productivity goals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tech.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating high-quality cakes and maintaining a welcoming environment.
• Lead and collaborate with bakery management to drive sales and profitability.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure NbC standards are met.
• Promote NbC culture and values to team members and guests.
