Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Brand Ambassador/Shift Leader in San Antonio to guide guests toward smoothies and retail products that support healthy lifestyles. You will lead the team in the GM’s absence and reinforce the brand culture.

Role requires friendly, reliable individuals with strong communication, basic Microsoft Office and POS skills, and a valid vehicle for commuting. Join us to promote health and a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a team member in a restaurant or similar retail customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills; reliable, friendly, and enthusiastic.
• Must have a vehicle for transportation to work; provide references from previous employer.

Responsibilities

• Blends delicious tasting smoothies.
• Greets guests and ensures their needs are met.
• Prepares fruits, vegetables, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties and store checklists.
• Assists in team member management and delegates tasks.
• Handles cash, inventory, and opening/closing assignments.

As a brand ambassador, Shift Leaders will help our guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them to help select smoothies and retail products that inspire them to live a healthy and active lifestyle! A Shift Leader will also provide guidance to team members when the General Manager is not in the store. The successful shift leader will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Blends delicious tasting smoothies.
• Ensures Guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greets and engages the Guest to provide a friendly experience
• Properly preps all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Performs store checklist tasks.
• Shows up on time and ready to work.
• Lives and promotes the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King
• Assists in Team Member management throughout shifts.
• Delegates responsibility and keeps team members on track with tasks.
• Fulfills cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.

Essential Functions:

• Minimum 1 years of experience as a team member in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Knowledgeable of general POS functionality.
• Excellent Communication Skills, ability to give and receive feedback.
• Must be extremely reliable
• Must be friendly and enthusiastic
• Must have vehicle for transportation to and from work.
• Must provide references from previous employer
