Job summary

Vitality Bowls in Ohio is seeking a detail-oriented shift supervisor to lead daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee shifts, delegate tasks, and uphold food safety and quality standards while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with deliveries, inventory, and training new team members, while collaborating with managers to optimize schedules and guest satisfaction. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Become food certified.
• Must be able to operate a basic computer and POS system; handle cash and credit cards.
• Follow health, sanitary, and safety requirements.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, occasionally lift heavy boxes, move quickly and have a sense of urgency.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
• Come to work with a positive attitude and work well with others.
• Leadership abilities.

Additional antioxidant-rich menu items include smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads and panini. Job Description:

Lead the team,

• In charge of shifts and delegating tasks
• Show exemplary knowledge of the job and excellent customer service
• Deal with upset customers/problems with food in a polite way, making sure the customer is happy
• Accept deliveries,
• Communicate with managers/owners about the status of inventory;
• Check daily petty cash
• Manage the break schedule,
• Attend Management Meetings
• Assist with interviews, evaluations, and training
• Memorize the training material
• Keep the front lobby and outside area clean
• Have excellent customer service,
• Assist and ring up guests, answer phone calls and take orders over the phone
• Prep food according to proper procedures
• Continuously and thoroughly clean the kitchen and lobby
• Communicate with other staff to ensure that all orders are made correctly and in a timely way
• Communicate with managers about the schedule,
• Complete all opening and closing duties
• Perform additional tasks requested by your manager
• Handle specials circumstances
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers

Requirements:
