Role Overview

A Shift Leader supports the management team in daily operations, including coaching staff, ensuring food quality, customer service, cash handling, training, enforcing policies, marketing participation, sales building, sanitation, and communication.

Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance.
  • Create food according to Jersey Mike's standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Manage and lead a team of 2-5 crew members.
  • Perform opening and closing tasks.
  • Proficient in slicing and baking bread.
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: 1 year QSR experience.
  • Serve Safe Food Handler Certification.
  • Must be 18+ to operate the slicer.
  • Reliable transportation.
Physical and Work Requirements
  • Ability to move or transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Work 38-40 hours per week.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Effective communication skills.
