Purpose
As a Shift Leader, you’ll be at the heart of creating a seamless, joyful in-store experience for every guest—whether they’re stopping in for an Edible Arrangement, a fresh cup of coffee, or a thoughtful gift. This role combines hands-on customer service, operational leadership, and creative product preparation in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
You’ll take an active role in daily store operations, guiding team members, serving customers, and ensuring everything from food prep to visual displays runs smoothly.

Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with warmth and enthusiasm; assist with product selections and personalized gift suggestions
- Take and process orders in-store, online, and over the phone
- Prepare and package a variety of edible products, following brand guidelines and portion standards
- Support the creation of simple, ready-made floral arrangements and maintain any floral displays as needed
- Keep product displays neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing
- Lead and support team members during your shift to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Delegate tasks, manage workflow, and handle escalations in the absence of the General Manager
- Help onboard and train new team members
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Work collaboratively with the General Manager and team to deliver a top-tier guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a shift leader or supervisory role in retail, food service, or hospitality
- Customer-first mindset with strong communication and service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Comfort with hands-on responsibilities including food prep, visual merchandising, and light floral work
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Food handling or ServSafe certification is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to conduct frequent lifting, carrying and/or pushing objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and scooping throughout assigned shifts.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 85% of the work shift.
