Jersey Mike's Subs in Mentor West, OH is hiring Shift Leaders to join our fast-growing team. This entry-level management role focuses on leading staff, ensuring quality food preparation, and delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience to customers.

Position requires 18+ years old with open availability. Pay ranges from $13–$15 per hour plus tips, with benefits and opportunities for growth as part of a team that values compassion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, and servant leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily shift operations including food prep and service.
• Bake bread, cook bacon, operate meat slicer as trained.
• Deliver Jersey Mike’s experience through great customer service.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Coach staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Demonstrate urgency and efficiency.

Jersey Mike's Subs in Mentor West, OH (across from the Great Lakes Mall) is hiring immediately! We are looking for great people that want to join our culture and make a difference one great sub sandwich at a time!

We are currently looking to hire Shift Leaders (must be 18 or older due to operations) with open availability.

Pay: $13-15/hr PLUS TIPS (which average an extra $3/hr to your pay!!)

A Shift Leader is an entry level management position with our company. As part of the management team, this job includes, but is not limited to:

• 1. Trained to bake bread/cook bacon/operate meat slicer
• 2. Producing high quality food
• 3. Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience
• 4. Cash handling
• 5. Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service
• 6. Maintaining the cleanliness and proper sanitation practices in the establishment
• 7. Effective communication - with team and with customers!
• 8. Having a sense of urgency
