Job summary

Bagel Brands in Manvel, TX is seeking a dedicated Shift Leader to partner with the General Manager in delivering a warm guest experience and leading a motivated team.

You will help open/close the store, coach staff, and maintain food quality and a safe, clean environment while working a flexible schedule that avoids evenings and nights where possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass background check as applicable by law.
• ServSafe Certification preferred or obtained prior to leadership training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.

What’s a day in the life of a Shift Leader? Our Shift Leaders collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. We empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team. They provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. As a Shift Leader, you will have the opportunity to rise like one of our bagels and grow your career. Many of our General Managers started as Shift Leaders and Team Members! What we are looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
