Job description

Summary

Supervise shifts and/or work areas in a Papa John’s restaurant to ensure high-quality products and customer service, thereby supporting restaurant profitability. Responsibilities include managing operations, executing all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and ethical business practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate exemplary operational skills, including preparing quality products that meet Papa John’s standards and accurately reflecting customer orders. Respond promptly to customer concerns, solicit and utilize feedback to improve operations and build brand loyalty. Communicate and train team members on quality standards using available tools such as the Operations Manual and Team Member Handbook.
  • Supervise restaurant team, maintain appropriate staffing levels, train team members to exceed customer expectations, ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards, and foster a team-oriented, energetic, and fun environment.
  • Contribute to sales goals through prompt, friendly customer service and by increasing check averages via product training and sales execution.
  • Support profit goals by adhering to company guidelines, managing cash and inventory accurately, and ensuring the restaurant is clean, safe, and organized, complying with safety and security standards at all times.

Physical Demands

Repetitive hand use, standing, walking, grasping, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and over 51 pounds occasionally. Must also be able to work in various environments and conditions, including outdoor, noisy, and potentially hazardous settings.

Work Environment

Work may involve outdoor conditions, noise, mechanical parts, dangerous equipment, fumes, odors, dust, or chemicals.
