Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a Shift Leader to work with the General Manager to oversee daily store operations, coach staff, and uphold quality and cleanliness standards. You will help deliver exceptional guest experiences and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.

This role focuses on driving sales, ensuring consistent product preparation, and fostering a positive, energetic team culture while maintaining compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail or food service is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are expected.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.
• Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service.
• Maximize sales performance while helping drive store profitability.
• Complete opening and closing procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and make bank deposits.
• Assist with inventory management and product ordering.
• Ensure smoothies and food items are prepared consistently according to Smoothie King standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment.
• Enforce company policies, operational standards, and safety regulations.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and team-focused workplace culture.

Physical Requirements

• Operate blenders, POS systems, and other restaurant equipment safely.
• Lift and move boxes weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Frequently bend, reach, lift, and stand throughout the shift.
• Work in refrigerated and freezer environments (40°F to -10°F) as needed.
• Tolerate exposure to common food allergens.
