Job description

As a Shift Leader at our UC Boulder store located at 1203 13th St, Boulder CO 80302, you are the captain of our bakery during your shift! You understand what it takes to “Own the Night” by predicting the flow of business and leading your team effectively. Your hands-on leadership style includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. Taking pride in your role as a leader helps ensure a productive and enjoyable night for your store.

WHAT WILL I DO AS A SHIFT LEADER?

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products to all guests
• Support store operations by maintaining efficiency, communicating effectively, monitoring production, and coaching team members
• Delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the Cookie Crew
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety practices
• Manage cash handling and deposits

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Point of Sale system experience
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient
• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be 18 or older
