Job summary

Jamba in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring quality, speed, and guest satisfaction during assigned shifts. You will step in for store leadership to keep operations smooth and staff motivated.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, adherence to safety standards, and proactive problem solving, with opportunities to grow through our training programs and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 3–6 months of first-line supervisory experience preferred.
• Flexible availability (weeknights, weekends, and holidays).
• TB clearance required.
• 0–1 year of food service or retail experience.
• Ability to stand, bend, scoop, and stay active throughout your shift.
• Comfortable working in cold environments (walk-in fridge/freezer).
• Basic math and computer skills (Microsoft, POS systems).
• Ability to taste-test products for quality.
• Cash handling and customer service experience a plus.
• Food handler certification (current or obtained within 30 days).
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
