Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Shift Leader to supervise all line activities during a designated shift. You will coordinate production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure processes run to plan and standard work is followed.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, quality checks, and timely responses to line issues. Strong communication and a track record in union environments are important for success.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical qualification is required.
  • 3+ years of production experience in manufacturing and leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of production line operations, quality checks, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead line teams and ensure SQDCM targets are met.
  • Coordinate across production, maintenance and quality during shifts.
  • Input and validate shift performance data in ERP or MES dashboards.
  • React promptly to line stoppages, quality issues and equipment malfunctions.
  • Drive cost improvements through systematic loss elimination and problem solving.

You will operate and maintain equipment to build technical mastery and to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets, understanding losses in your area and taking the appropriate action to eliminate them. You will use autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development. In this role, you will ensure that safety processes are observed [e.g. safety maps, lock out tag out (LOTO) , behavior observation system (BOS) and root-cause analysis (RCA)], that quality assurance activities are performed to ensure zero harm and 100 percent good-quality products, and that resources are properly allocated and available during the shift. You will take the lead for shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reductions loss analysis and breakdown elimination.What you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. Acting as the on-shift point of control, the Shift Leader coordinates across teams—including production, maintenance, and quality—while ensuring that all line activities are executed to plan and according to standard work. This role ensures smooth transitions between shifts and provides immediate decision-making support in dynamic production conditions. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time.
