Job summary

Jimmy John's in Canton, MI is hiring Shift Leaders to coach Crew Members, uphold Brand standards, and deliver a great guest experience during each shift.

You will set goals, assign tasks, provide feedback, and help maintain food safety and sanitation while driving sales and ensuring products meet brand specs.

We have two Canton locations at 6535 N. Canton Center Rd and 41806 Ford Rd. Must be 18+, have a HS diploma, and possess basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience is required or preferred.
• Must be able to perform basic math and write clearly.
• Must be at least 18 years old where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coach crew members to execute Brand standards and guest experience.
• Set shift goals, assign tasks, and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain a guest-first culture and resolve guest issues.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and compliance with laws and brand recipes.
• Drive sales, implement marketing initiatives, and manage shift cash.
• Provide leadership to maintain high team performance.

We are looking for Shift Leaders to join our Jimmy John's team!

Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Crew Members throughout their shift to execute operational Brand standards and deliver a great and friendly guest experience. They set goals, provide job assignments, and motivate others, celebrating successes and providing timely feedback.

Responsibilities:

Team Environment:

• Support a respectful team environment
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results with team members
• Support the training of crew members as requested
• Provide coaching and feedback to crew members

Operational Excellence:

• Create and maintain a guest first culture in the restaurant
• Resolve guest issues
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety, food safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with local and state laws

Profitability:

• Drive sales goals and results
• Execute restaurant standards and marketing initiatives
• Manage cash over/short during shift
• Ensure all products are prepared according to Brand standards

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluent in English
