Job summary

Dunkin’ in Bastrop, TX seeks a Shift Leader to coach Team Members, assign duties, and uphold operational standards while delivering great guest service.

You will support the Restaurant Manager, ensure Dunkin’ standards on food/beverage prep, communicate shifts, train staff, manage inventory, and handle cash with policy compliance.

This role requires teamwork, honesty, adaptability, problem-solving, and a guest-focused mindset, with prior leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of restaurant Team Members
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meeting operational goals and execution
• Ensure Dunkin’ standards are met throughout shift including preparation of food and beverages
• Communicate shift priorities, goals and results to Team Members
• Coach Team Members as needed throughout a shift providing timely, constructive and clear feedback
• Support the training of Team Members as needed
• Communicate clearly with the next Shift Leader to help prepare him/her for shift
• Ensure Food Safety standards are met
• Manage Inventory throughout the shift
• Provide great guest service and coaches team members to do the same
• Manage cash over/short during shift and ensures restaurant team members are following cash franchisee management policies

Shift Leaders contribute to the success of Coffee Action West by coaching the Team Members throughout their shift to execute operational standards and deliver great guest service. They set goals, provide job assignments, and motivate others to maintain an environment that promotes Coffee Action West’s guiding principles.
