Job summary

KFC is hiring a Shift Leader in the United States. You will lead shifts, coach team members, and partner with management to drive results while upholding food safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include supervising tasks, handling cash and inventory, and participating in training and hiring activities. This role requires 18+ and strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessible transportation required.
• Excellent communication, management and organizational skills.
• Physical dexterity to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Operates a cash register and makes change as needed.
• Basic math skills required.
• Maintains customer satisfaction and health and safety standards.

• Provides constructive feedback and executes shift duties accurately.

Responsibilities

• Execute KFC Connect Success Routine to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Team Members to complete shift tasks and maintain appearance.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on performance.
• Coach and train Team Members during shifts.
• Assist RGM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Support P&L management by following cash, inventory, and labor procedures.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Assist with facility maintenance and health and safety standards.

As a Shift Leader, you'll be the driving force behind our team, leading shifts with energy and passion to meet KFC's high standards. You'll take charge, resolving customer concerns and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied. Your leadership will inspire others as you coach and guide your team to success. Partnering with the management team, you'll play a key role in business initiatives, helping to shape the future of our restaurant. THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by executing KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' completion of shift tasks and maintain clean, neat appearances.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Provide regular feedback to the RGM on Team Member performance.
• Offer ongoing constructive and positive feedback to Team Members.
• Actively participate in training Team Members.
• Handle conflicts constructively and work with the RGM to achieve resolution.
• Assist the RGM in screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss management by following cash control and security procedures, maintaining inventory and managing labor.
• Oversee proper product preparation, rotation, portioning, cooking and holding times.
• Assist the RGM with facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are always followed.

IS THIS YOU?
