Thrive Restaurant Group is hiring a Shift Leader for Modern Market Eatery in Austin. The role focuses on leading shifts, ensuring guest experience and food quality, and managing opening/closing procedures in a fast-paced open kitchen.

Requirements include at least 6 months of shift leadership, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate and multi-task. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, holidays, and 401k; free meals are offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
