Thrive Restaurant Group's Modern Market Eatery in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to keep shifts running smoothly and to uphold guest service. You will manage opening and closing, supervise team members, and respond to guest needs in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least 6 months of shift leader experience in a restaurant, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task and coordinate work. Food handlers and alcohol service training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

What you'll do:

If so, this is the job for you! We are Modern Market Eatery – a farm-fresh eatery that serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.
