Job description

*JOB PURPOSE*: The purpose of this position is to provide additional support to the management team and allow for additional coverage during peak periods, or in the absence of a Manager.

*CORE JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES*

Team

• Follow appropriate procedures in the event of a Team Member injury
• Conduct pre-shift meetings with Team Members
• Set shift goals with Team Members
• Coach Team Members during and after shifts to achieve desired goals
• Conduct Team Member Quick Screen Interviews (additional practice needed)
• Train Hourly Team Members
• Manage Team Member Behaviors (GEM Report)
• Conduct disciplinary sessions with hourly team members & document informal discussions (additional practice needed)
• Follow Company Procedures When Team Member Injuries Occur
• Navigate PeopleMatter website to find applicants

Guest

• Handle Guest Relations and complaints on the floor
• Implement figure 8s during peak periods
• Perform 100% Table Touches
• Address Guest injuries following procedures

Marketing – in unit

• Create a “Game Day” atmosphere

Quality Ops

• Ensure Team Members wear proper uniforms
• Oversee opening/closing/phase work
• Ensure food prep is to spec and quantity
• Receive food and liquor orders

Shift Management

• Monitor food safety and quality
• Perform end-of-night paperwork and cash breakdowns
• Manage shift change duties and server checkouts
• Manage POS orders and morning paperwork

Technology

• Manage menu items and operate terminals and AV equipment
• Maintain NTN tablets

R&M

• Change projector bulbs and clean projectors

Safety and Security

• Identify hazards, monitor RAS, check IDs, and manage last call procedures
• Follow procedures for robberies and vendor entry

Sales and Profit

• Monitor labor, COGS Food and Alcohol, and ordering practices

CVD

• Follow procedures for pullbacks and CVDs

Operations

• Manage fryer and AV fire-ups, and know P.O.P. features

Communication

• Document shift highlights, incidents, and injuries

Leadership Training

• Maintain professionalism and certifications (ServSafe, TIPS)
• Set goals and action steps

Direct Responsibility

• Read staff availability, set schedules, and submit to manager
