Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in Westworth Village, Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead daily drive-in operations and supervise team members during shifts.

You will train, coach, and direct employees, manage staffing levels, handle guest and employee concerns, ensure compliance with laws and company policies, and assist with opening or closing duties to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience.
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Strong knowledge of customer service and general restaurant operations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws (wage/hour, EEO).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe food handling.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and lead drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead drive-in operations to deliver an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues/concerns during shift.
• Handle employee issues/concerns during shift.
• Monitor costs, inventory, and labor during shift to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with preparation and maintenance of shift records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Perform all station duties and sanitation tasks as needed.
