Job summary

Potato Corner | South Plains Mall is seeking a Shift Lead to run the floor during your shift, keeping service fast, the team motivated, and the store operating smoothly. This is a great step up for someone ready to lead.

You will supervise and support crew, open/close the store with cash handling, ensure food quality and cleanliness, coach team members, monitor inventory, resolve guest concerns, and uphold food-safety and workplace-safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of QSR or customer-service experience preferred (or strong crew performance).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to lead by example.
• Comfortable with POS systems, cash handling, and basic shift reporting.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Handler certification a plus (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support crew members throughout your shift
• Open and/or close the store, including cash handling and drawer reconciliation
• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness standards are met
• Coach crew members and help train new hires
• Monitor inventory levels and report low stock
• Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
• Uphold food-safety and workplace-safety compliance
