Panda Restaurant Group Inc. is seeking a Shift Lead to guide our team during fast-paced service in our Iowa City location. You will support management in delivering Panda’s mission, while ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and smooth shift operations.

You will gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites, and develop diverse skills to grow with the restaurant. This role emphasizes leadership, service with heart, and quality food preparation.

Qualifications

• Some high school
• Prefer some Operations experience
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant's own expense

Responsibilities

• Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Gain valuable skills managing store operations and leading the team during the shift.
• Gain hands on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.

Education

Some high school

Operations experience (preferred)

Food Safety certification (local requirement)
