Qualifications

About the Job:

A Camp Counselor assists with animal care, heavy cleaning, and play yard monitoring. The care of Campers is the #1 priority.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting in animal care.
  2. Heavy cleaning of doggy play yards & cabins.
  3. Active supervision of the health & behavior of packs of dogs.
  4. Responsible for feeding & providing general care of a volume of dogs.
  5. Team Communication & Leadership skills.
  6. Customer Service - having professional & happy conversations with pet parents during rush times.
  7. A positive & energetic attitude is a must.
  8. Maintaining a clean and safe environment following strict daily cleaning & safety protocols!
  9. Must be able to work at a fast & efficient pace.
Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. (18 years old or older).
  2. Be able to lift 25-50 lbs. if needed.
  3. Constantly walk and/or stand the entire shift.
  4. Must be comfortable monitoring up to 25 dogs at a time.
  5. Open availability/flexible scheduling.
  6. 30-40 hours per week.
  7. Holidays & Weekend availability required.
