Job summary

Five Guys in Whitehall, PA is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations, supervise crew, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll lead by example, switch between roles, and keep standards high during busy shifts.

This role pays at least $16.00 per hour plus tips and bonus, with opportunities to grow into Assistant or General Manager roles. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of leadership in food service, strong teamwork, and solid math and POS skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• Basic math skills and POS experience.
• Team-first mindset with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Work in cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and guest satisfaction.
• Coach and motivate crew to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
