Job summary

Charleys Cheesesteaks in Las Vegas is seeking a motivated Shift Lead to oversee daily restaurant operations, drive excellent guest service, maintain food quality, and ensure smooth shift execution in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead, train, and coach team members, manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and help achieve sales and labor goals while upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during shifts to ensure smooth daily operations
• Delegate tasks and maintain a positive, productive team environment
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally
• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and presentation meet Charleys standards
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout the restaurant
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and shift accountability
• Support inventory management, stocking, and operational efficiency
• Train and coach team members on company standards and procedures
• Communicate daily goals, promotions, and operational updates to the team
• Support management in achieving sales, labor, and operational goals
• Report operational or employee concerns to management promptly
